Joe Svihel Senior Afterimages Directing Team Member Joe Svihel is the Senior Director of Afterimages 2018 - a Dance concert that features contemporary student choreography. Joe was born and raised in Minnesota, which is where he found his passion for both dance and hockey. Joe had the honor of performing with a Minnesota born Jazz Company, called Eclectic Edge Ensemble, as part of a Summer Apprenticeship. He hopes to continue his work with the Company after he Graduates. Sean Frenzel Junior Afterimages Directing Team Member Sean Frenzel is a junior dance and arts management major with a communication minor from Arlington Heights, Illinois. He has been tap dancing since he was two years old and began learning jazz and modern when he was 13. He choreographed and danced in the tap piece “We Separate Like Ripples on a Blank Shore” in Afterimages 2017, and is choreographing another tap dance for this year’s production.
